Through our unique co-development approach, we work together with our customers and across their value chains to develop solutions that fulfil customer-specific needs. The Special Nutrition business unit at AAK consists of an international global team and together with our regional offices around the world, we are responsible for delivering growth for AAK and our customers within the nutrition industry. The majority of our customers are global. We are now looking for a Customer Innovation Manager to strengthen our global Special Nutrition business unit. Job Description As a Customer Innovation Manager you will drive co- development projects in cooperation with our customers and our sales team. You will be a key player in building a solid project pipeline with our customers and then executing the projects in a timely manner. The main tasks are: • Support the global sales team in finding new opportunities with selected customers • Be the technical specialist and support the customers by providing technical advice • Initiate and drive customer co-development projects, develop new tailor-made products in line with the latest scientific and market developments • Translate customer requirements to the appropriate production processes and specifications • Organizing technical seminars for customers and providing training for colleagues • Work closely together with global and regional sales colleagues, visit customers and represent AAK at trade-fairs The position is based in Karlshamn, Sweden or in Zaandijk, The Netherlands. You will be reporting to the Customer Innovation Director for Special Nutrition, Malin Pedersen. Qualifications Most likely you hold a University degree within Food Science, Food Technology or similar. You have several years of relevant experience within a food company, preferably working with high quality applications, such as infant food. Knowledge of (vegetable) oils and fats is a strong advantage. You have a deep and profound interest and passion for working directly with customers, discussing and interacting with them and developing tailor-made solutions for their needs. You are comfortable working in an international business environment, including frequent travel. You are a proactive flexible team player, strong in project management, have strong communication skills and you cooperate well and enjoy working with and for our sales organization. Our business language is English and therefore fluency in English is a prerequisite.
