About the position
As one of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges, we are now looking for a Dairy Technician to our Dairy Pilot Plant Team based at the Customer Innovation Centre in Karlshamn.

In The Dairy Pilot Team, you work closely together with Sales and Customer Innovation Managers to develop value adding vegetable oil solutions for our customers. The dairy segment covers and have focus on oils and fats used in traditional dairy applications as whipped toppings, ice creams, yoghurt and cheese.

The Dairy Pilot Team is responsible for three laboratories: Dairy pilot plant, physical chemistry and the sensory lab.

In your role as Dairy Technician, you collaborate not only with the dairy team but also work together with our Customer Innovations Managers who leads the work from a customer point of view through the process with idea generation, creating of solutions and all the way to technical implementation and launch. This to apply our true co-development approach and to build long-term partnership with customers where AAK contribute with our in-depth skills for specialty oils and fats.

Your main area is in our pilot plant where we produce samples to our customer both internally and externally with a focus on process technology. You will also support AAK Academy seminars for partners and customers.

Who are you?

Experience:

You hold a degree in food science or chemistry discipline with focus on dairy technology and with proven experience from working in the food industry in similar positions or related areas in the dairy industry as Dairy Technician or Product Developer.

Personal Qualities:

You adapt quickly to changes and approach your tasks in a structured and methodical way. In your everyday work you enjoy a great variety and appreciate close interaction with different stakeholders. You know your way around a pilot plant and have good knowledge in dairy equipment and its functions.

As a person you are a true and engaged team player motivated and open to growth and challenges always striving to improve and innovate closely together with your different stakeholders. You thrive in a hectic working environment and are adaptable to change. The Dairy Team is a small team that solves big problems quickly and efficiently. Your focus is on achieving results and always strive to deliver excellent customer service and profitable solutions.

You are fluent with expressing yourself in Swedish speech and writing. We are an international company therefore good skills in the English language is needed.
