For Mars Sverige AB, Nigel Wright is now recruiting an Account Manager/junior Key Account Manager for the Convenience Trade/Servicehandeln (SVH).
Job description
The Account Manager must have a strong working knowledge of the convenience trade and its working practices and will be responsible for the convenience trade budget.
As Account Manager you will be responsible for the development and profitability of the brands in Convenience Trade (SVH). Your main tasks will be to maximize customer engagement by winning ‘heart & minds’ of the customer, drive profitable growth for Mars and increase the category and market share across all three categories.
The Account Manager must form strong customer relationships with the account headquarter, working not only with buyers, but also with other key personnel from the retailer. Within this, the job holder must be a strong negotiator. The job holder should develop a strong interface towards category management, marketing, logistics and finance to optimize the use of competencies to drive top line growth and business shape down to account contribution within the account.
You will drive the assortment decisions for each customer, and help decide which novelties that should be launched and negotiations will be an important part of your job. You will be responsible for customer analysis, evaluation of campaigns, distribution and listings.
Who are we looking for?
· 2-5 years of Account Manager/Key Account experience or similar (preferable from the FCMG sector)
· Higher education
· Experience from Convenience- and/or Grocery trade
· Negotiation skills
· Analytical skills
· A genuine passion for getting from plans to action and to make a difference in market
· Fluent in Swedish and English
· Good computer skills (MS Office) & previous experience with AC Nielsen
