Are you an application specialist and a foodie with experience in project management and sales? Come join our team as our new Application specialist at Lantmännen Oats where we processes and transforms oats to high quality ingredients.
Our ingredients are used by customers within food, feed and functional food. We believe that continuous development of new products and improvement of existing products is crucial. Our product portfolio consists of dietary fiber rich in β-glucan, oat flour, protein and a product for skin care. Our site is located in Kimstad south of Norrköping.
This is what you will do
The role as Application specialist within nutritional and functional ingredients is a new position and Lantmännen Oats are looking for an engaged and highly creative coworker. In this position, you will be our expert on oat ingredients produced by Lantmännen. You will work very closely together with the two Lantmännen companies selling our ingredients, Lantmännen Functional Foods and Lantmännen Reppe.
As Application specialist, you will have access to a well-equipped laboratory in Kimstad and a test kitchen at Reppe in Lidköping, where you will create and evaluate product samples. Together we will create a professional core package that will facilitate for our customers and train them how apply our ingredients. You will also travel to our customers either by yourself or with our Key Account Manager and business manager. Towards the customer, it is important to understand their process and be able to apply the oat ingredients. You will also to assist the internal sales team and report to our Technical & product development manager who is located in Växjö.
This is what you need to succeed
You have:
- University or college education in food, nutrition and/or natural science
- Two years of experience from similar role, preferably within the food area or pharmaceuticals
- Preferably experience from project management
You are:
- Possibility oriented with good knowledge of our customers need
- Passionate about keeping yourself up to date within research and development
- Fluent in Swedish and English
