Barry Callebaut has strengthened its presence in Scandinavia by acquiring ASM Foods AB in Sweden from Carletti A/S of Denmark. The transaction includes a specialty factory in Mjölby, focused on the production of specialty compound chocolate, fillings and inclusions, and this factory will serve as the hub for the Nordics.
Barry Callebaut is now looking to strengthen their Nordic Sales Team with an Area Manager that will cover the Swedish (also Finnish) market and report to the Scandinavian Sales Manager.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will use your entrepreneurial mindset and your expertise within B2B sales to achieve permanent growth in volume and margin within the area of small to medium-sized Food Manufacturers in Sweden, but also towards the Finnish market
- You maintain our existing B2B client portfolio and use your entrepreneurial mindset to actively develop these relationships and their account plans
- Your customers will be CEO’s and purchasing directors of industrial chocolate processing companies.
- You have a good financial background in order to estimate and anticipate the results of certain business decisions
- You are interested in the production process and the applications of chocolate and you keep your knowledge up to date in order to assist the customers with technical problems or in the development of their market. In these situations you can also count on the support of our internal departments (marketing, R&D, etc)
Profile:
- You have a university degree (field of economics, finance or commerce preferable but not a requirement)
- You have profound commercial experience in an industrial business to business environment (food sector preferred, not required)
- You are fluent in English and Swedish
- You are a true sales person, an “entrepreneur”, a result driven doer and motivated by challenging objectives and you strive for absolute customer satisfaction
- You are creative, analytical and believe hard work pays off
