Spring Wine & Spirits AB (previously Spendrups Vin) import, sell and market wine and spirits. Since our establishment in 1995, Spring Wine & Spirits have grown to become the leading distributor of wine to Sweden’s restaurant market and supply a broad variety of products to Systembolaget. Today, Spring Wine and Spirits represent around 80 small and large wine and spirits producers from all over the world, on the Swedish market and carries more than 400 products in the assortment.

The largest brands in the portfolio include Cantina Zaccagnini, Barefoot Wines, Codorníu, Trapiche, Ogier, Boschendal, El Coto, Cono Sur, Peter Lehmann, Frescobaldi and Plantation Rum. Our company is a subsidiary of Spendrups Bryggeri AB, one of the largest brewery and beverage groups in Sweden. Spring Wine & Spirits are now growing and we need to expand the team of 25 employees. We are therefore looking to recruit a Brand Communications Manager who will report in directly to our Marketing Director.
Main Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the assigned brands’ communication strategy & execution of marketing activities, both externally and internally, in close collaboration with brand managers and producers to develop and ensure consistent communication.
- As brand communications manager you are expected to understand and leverage consumer insights, finding inspiration within and outside the company and turning them into business success.
- You will be expected to develop & execute marketing & media plans for your brands, managing agency contacts, and booking external media
- As a member of the marketing team you will also be responsible for planning and implementing PR activities and events as well as managing our own social/media platforms.
Person description/background
- Min. 5 years work experience
- University degree or similar within marketing/PR/Communication
- Background in FMCG/food & drink
- Experience of working with both traditional and digital marketing communication platforms
- Documented experience of project management, planning and delivery
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills using the Swedish language
As an individual you have strong business acumen with a drive to make things happen. You are structured and analytical and are comfortable managing and assessing multiple projects in a fast moving environment. You have strong interpersonal skills, are open, empathetic and capable of building strong working relationships. At the same time you are a creative individual with a feel for aesthetics. You are passionate about food, wine and drinks.
