CATEGORY AND SPACE MANAGER

The business offers meals, bakery and confectionery products and operates in eight countries with export to a further 40. Fazer Confectionary Sweden are on an exciting upward journey. The business has experienced steady growth in recent years and is now looking to further develop and expand their marketing function by adding a Category and Space Manager to the team. As a new position within the organisation the opening represents an exciting opportunity to make your mark on both the role and directly influence the continued future development of the organisation. The Category and Space Manager will be situated in Stockholm as part of the local Marketing team, and will report into Marketing Manager Sweden. Key responsibilities

• Manage Category and shopper projects in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams
• Conduct Space Management – analysis and recommendations for future improvements
• Develop assortment and channel strategies based on category insights
• Leverage market data and provide recommendations on space, range, promotions and pricing.
• Analyse category and drivers to enable future growth
• Report sales development and follow up on KPI’s
• Pilot new category and shopper solutions
• Lead local implementation planning for new products or segments
• Build relationships with key customers, to encourage collaboration and establish a common strategic agenda

Background In order to be successful in this role we see that you have the following background:

• Academic background within Business/Economics
• Min. 5 years’ experience within FMCG or retail
• Previous experience from a Category Manager role within a similar category is deemed advantageous.
• Solid experience of leading cross functional projects internally and in collaboration with clients.
• Good at networking, communication and building relations
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Personality wise you are an analytical and structured individual who enjoys leading projects. Moreover, you are an enthusiastic and communicative team player with strong networking skills.
