For Mars Sverige AB, Nigel Wright is now recruiting a Category Manager for the Chocolate category. Purpose of the job As the Category Manager Chocolate, your focus will be on delivering category management process in line with Mars Sweden strategies and growth ambitions in close co-operation with Nordic business team, the local management and sales team.  Your ambition will be to position Mars as a knowledge supplier to the trade in all aspects related to in store excellence and category dynamics to ensure category growth. You will be a part of the Swedish sales team, reporting to the National Category Manager Sweden. Key responsibility ·         With own drive and agenda, develop short and long term strategies to ensure healthy growth within the Chocolate category. ·         Ensure in-depth understanding of current retail environment, in store excellence and category specifics. ·         Deliver Category Management processes/projects with our trading partners with a strategic and operational tool box to build long lasting relationships. ·         Analyse and evaluate category performance in order to proactively initiate actions internally and externally. ·         Using shopper understanding and category principles to develop clear recommendations on in-store placement and other availability parameters to optimize portfolio performance. ·         Responsible for shopper research need and necessary retail data for decision making. Who are we looking for
  • Higher education.
  • 2-5 years of FMCG experience.
  • Previous experience from grocery and/or convenience trade.
  • A genuine interest and experience from Shopper Understanding and In Store Strategies & Tactics.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage insights and turn them into actions.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in the marketplace based on insights.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.
  • Good/advanced computer skills (MS Office) & previous experience with AC Nielsen
