Cheese Technology Specialist

We are looking for a senior expert that can support our colleagues across Cluster Europe and Central Asia to deliver customized cheese and whey solutions. You will join a small but great team of senior experts, that are working closely with our colleagues in the markets, cluster and business units.

We have great equipment to make all types of cheese. Your challenge will be to ensure that we optimize our solution for every customer based on their individual needs. With a solid application knowhow and good understanding of cheese and whey production you will support your colleagues in sales, projects and development with hands on advice and strong product knowledge. However, your most important task will be to work with our customers to find the right solution for their cheese and whey production.

• Work closely with the Cluster Category Leader for Cheese to drive the growth in the cheese category
• Participate and drive technology development in cheese production equipment.
• Support the ECA sales team with your cheese technology expertise and product knowledge in order to deliver optimized production solutions to cheese producers
• Support customers with cheese expertise, trouble shooting and audits of their production facilities providing them better products, improved productivity and sustainability
• Train and drive the competence development of our cluster organisation within the area of cheese technology

The position is based somewhere within our ECA cluster and includes approx. 30% travelling.

We seek someone with positive energy and drive to this role! You’re able to drive your agenda, network and collaborate across boundaries. You enjoy being the expert, sharing your knowledge and inspiring people around you. Furthermore, you can build trustful relationships and in an easy way explain technical and complex information and engage all level of organization with your cheese know how. You hold a university degree in food technology, food chemistry or equivalent. You have minimum 3-5 years’ experience from cheese processing and/or production. Your English skills are excellent, spoken as well as written. If you also speak another European language this is considered a merit.
