Customer Innovation Center Dairy - Team leader Dairy Pilot Plant & Support

For Business Area Europe, department Customer Innovation Center Dairy, we are looking for a team leader to our Dairy Pilot Plant & Support team. Customer Innovation Center Dairy is working closely together with our customers to co-develop value added vegetable oil solutions for the dairy industry. The Dairy Pilot Plant & Support team is responsible for the lab support. In the Dairy application lab, we produce whipping cream, ice cream, yoghurt, cheese, spreads, margarines etc in pilot scale. We do development work for our customers to find the best solutions for their needs. The team also do application work for the Product and Technology group who is working with longer term projects. Another responsibility is our physical chemistry laboratory and our sensory lab. Here we can evaluate more or less all oil and fat containing products. The team consists of three co-workers. One food technologist who work mainly with the physical chemical- and sensory lab and two food technicians who work in the dairy application lab. About the position. - You are team leader for three co workers working in the Dairy Pilot Plant & Support team - You are responsible for planning and assignment of tasks to the team - You work hands-on in the dairy application lab as well as being manager for the team - You are responsible for working to continuously improve the quality of our work so we meet our customer's expectations with regard to lead time, quality and service. The position is permanent and based in Karlshamn. Who are you? The ideal candidate has a strong background in dairy technology and has hands-on experience from working with different dairy processes and products. A scientific/professional mind-set, and being good at documentation and organizing is required. You are good at customer interactions (service minded) as well as internal communication with different stakeholders. You have the ambition and capacity to develop our knowledge around dairy processing and the role of different ingredients and fats. To be successful on this position you also need to work independently and to be good at taking your own initiative. You are not afraid of trying new ideas and you are focused on reaching the teams targets. You like to work in a team and you are a positive and engaged team leader who has the ability to inspire and motivate the team.
