We are now looking for a Sales Representative to join our Foodservice department and take on the district of the greater Stockholm area. You will work in a team of 9 people, all dedicated to the Swedish Foodservice market and report to the Foodservice Manager for Sweden. This position is full time and will be appointed as soon as possible.

About the position
You will be accountable to target strategic and important foodservice customers; wholesalers as well as end buyers within both the public and private sector in order to increase sales for the Barilla and Wasa brands in your district. You will be requested to do an average of 600 visits per year and for sure there will be a lot of focus on restaurants and hotels in this district. Other recurring tasks include fairs, and trade shows, customer management and tasting sessions – all in order to drive volume thru these expansive channels. The job demands a lot of own responsibility and accountability. The district covers public and private restaurants, 8 local wholesale dealers, and dietary managers. The number of overnight stays are approximately 2 per month, which increases to around 4-6 nights during industry trade fairs and expos.
About you
We are looking for a person who has documented experience within sales, preferably within Foodservice, and one foot in the restaurant business with chefmanship skills. You have a great passion for food and set high standards from yourself. You deliver quality in everything you do. You are truly service minded individual however with high integrity. You see potential where others see difficulties. Since the district is rather large and contains our biggest city you have no problems setting priorities and pushing for what you believe.
You should live in the greater area of Stockholm and have a valid drivers license. You speak English and Swedish fluently and have very good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office tools, preferably also within Argus, which is our sales support system. You are further open minded and inclusive and foster team work to get the job done even if you have no problem to work alone. You enjoy working independently, building long-term relationships with clients as well as professional networks, and are used to meeting high volume targets in a fast paced environment.
