Have it your way! King Food is 100 percent owned by Umoe Restaurant Group and has master franchise rights to Burger King® in Scandinavia. There are a total of 178 Burger King® restaurants in Sweden, Denmark, Faroe Islands and Norway, of which 56 are owned by King Food. Burger King is expanding in Scandinavia and therefore they are looking for a Franchise Business Leader for Sweden, based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. The person will report directly to the Managing Director of Burger King Scandinavia. This position requires travels, mostly around Sweden. Goals for the position
  • Assure that all restaurants in own portfolio are performing to high standard regarding Burger King concepts and standards.
  • Manage key relationships between franchisees and King Food Scandinavia contributing to the financial goals and operational standards are met.
  • Contribute to and support great guest and employee experiences in all franchisee stores.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent operations through ensuring franchisee alignment to Burger King operational standards, processes and systems. Achieve through data analysis, action planning, hands-on restaurant visits and effective communication/influencing with franchisees.
  • Work alongside KFS development to manage remodel, openings and closure targets for KFS and specific franchise groups. Be a positive force in pushing targets for new store openings for KFS and franchisees.
  • Conduct effective, targeted business reviews with franchisees on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure franchisees meet KFS financial responsibilities through timely payment of ad fund and royalties
  • Conduct seed training and communication of Burger King and KFS operational, training and product platforms.
  • General administration duties -report writing, presentation writing, legal and formal written communication.
  • Participate and be proactive in recruitment of new franchisees.
  • Responsible for all task related to designated suppliers.
Background and personal qualifications
  • Extensive experience from similar roles in within Retail and/or franchise business
  • Proven track record of successful direct or indirect leadership
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Structured, self-motivated, goal oriented and business savvy.

  • Communicates in a positive and motivating style that creates engagement and motivation for the receiver.
