Ceres is one of Scandinavia’s leading contract manufacturers of dry food. The business concept is to develop and produce cost-effective and high-quality dry food products in partnership with the Nordic food industry and trade.
The company is currently looking to expand the organisation and the business in the Nordics with an experienced
Key Account Manager. They are looking for a person with a strong drive and energy to take the company to the next level in terms of turnover and development of the business in general. This person will be a key member of the organisation and report to the CEO.
Areas of responsibility
You will have overall responsibility for our client's development & profitability for your customers including:
- Responsible for creating successful relations with most of the company’s customers
- Customer presentations – analyse data and present professionally
- Responsible for conducting a continuous market evaluation and continuously looking for improvement areas
- Responsible for finding new customers and new channels
- Responsible for negotiations, price lists, forecasting, growth plans and follow-up and analysis in corporation with finance
- Responsible for visiting and participate in important partner and customer events
- Be a link to operations and product development
- Have a good understanding of the company’s capabilities within production, supply chain and packaging
Customers
- Develop and actively implement the business plan for your customers
- Active contact with the customer in terms of activity planning, contract negotiations and product assortment
- Build strong business relationships
- Plan customer visits / meetings
- Promote high cost awareness; proactively ensure that all resources are used cost effectively
- Draft proposals for quotes / customer contracts prior to contract negotiations in consultation with manager
- Plan and conduct contract negotiations with the customers
- Proactively look for areas of improvement of responsible customers and to ensure that actions are taken
- Full control over the sales development of responsible customers and proactively develop actions and action plans (gap vs. budget)
Competencies
- KAM -experience with well proven results
- Knowledge about FMCG, wholesales and understanding the customer’s structure and strategy
- Technical understanding of production and supply chain management
- Knowledge of packaging options
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office
- Fluent in Swedish and very good level in verbal and written English
- Driving license
