JOB DECRIPTION
In this position you will be in charge of marketing Retail in the Nordic countries. Your main missions will be to plan, implement and control an effective marketing programme, maximizing the sales potential of existing and new products with high focus on innovation. This, in line with the company’s international strategy within agreed budget / profitability levels, and in line with market share development.
You will transfer intellectual competence to practical and operational solutions within Bonduelle Nordics business scope.
You will report to the Nordic Managing Director.
Area of responsibility:
- Nordic Marketing responsible for all retail, brand activities
- Active participant in the overall development of all Nordic BU activities
- Coach and develop subordinates
- Overall responsible for driving the Bonduelle Brand: Includes product development (renovation and innovation), marketing activities, budget accountable, product calculations, consumer and market knowledge
- Deliver annual volume and profit targets
- Responsible for the marketing collaboration with our Nordic Partners
- Propose, control and monitoring of the marketing budget
- Initiate and conduct consumer insights and get relevant data
- Drive growth through renovation/innovation based on market data and consumer insights, supported by strong marketing activities - Develop and monitor implementation of marketing plans (ATL and BTL)
- Develop and propose a pricing strategy for existing and new products (P&L responsible)
- Secure all brand communication and activities are in line with brand positioning strategy and budget
- Manage and secure profitability of marketing activities, plans and projects, and present tools to how to trace this (ROMI)
- Initiator of budget & plan strategy process. Overall responsible for presentations
- Manage and secure development of subordinates (secure a professional, dynamic and inspiring atmosphere)
- Nordic representative in international marketing forums in the Group
- Secure best practice and guidelines
- Inspire a passion for the brand throughout the organisation

Tasks:
- Managing, develop and motivate marketing staff
- Drive and facilitate the marketing collaboration with our Nordic Partners, incl. strategy, budgets and activities
- Securing the best assortment in all 4 Nordic countries: Recommendations according to listings, price, launches and packaging
- Research and evaluate existing & new product opportunities
- Manage and secure launch campaigns for new products
- Managing/gaining, analysing and implement market data and consumer insights (Secure visible deliverables)
- Research and evaluation of competitors, within relevant categories
- Conduct product calculations and price monitoring on basis of rec. consumer prices
- Secure execution of plans and initiatives
- Managing media
- Initiate analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts (ROMI) & tools / best case examples
- Input to forecast
- Secure planning and implementation of TTL Marketing activities: Activities, presentations, costs and timing
- Secure handling of on-line activities and updates in general (Webpages, Facebook etc.)
- Product calculations and consumer-prise responsible
- Yearly preparation and presentation of different KAM/sales presentations
- Drive yearly preparation of Plan Strategy
- Ad hoc project responsible
- Stand-in for the Nordic Managing Director
KPI’s:
- Achieve defined volume and value targets
- Development/handling of marketing department/collaborators
- Anchoring of the Nordic strategy and goals: From strategy to go-to market plans and secure red line/bridge between strategy and daily activites
- Successful launch of new products
- Successful go-to market plans
QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketer: University degree in marketing or business administration
- Proven experience, minimum 6 years, in consumer function (BTC), within the FMCG industry
- Experience in all aspects of planning, developing, implement and maintaining marketing strategies
- Knowledge of Nordic trade
- Experience with market analysis/consumer insights
- Brand Management: Experience in developing brands
- Experience in working with different business partners: Agencies, suppliers, etc
- Experience in coordination/project management
- Preferable leadership experience and/or people management experience
- Relevant software applications, and proved technical marketing skills
- IT Competences: Lotus Notes & Microsoft Office
- Language: Fluent in Danish and English (French understanding is considered a plus)
