Quality Manager

IKEA Food Services AB offers A Taste of Sweden by operating the Restaurants, Staff Restaurants, Bistros and Swedish Food Markets in IKEA stores worldwide. We have a passion for food and offer visitors the opportunity to experience a taste of Sweden, thus supporting the Swedish profile of IKEA. As Quality Manager you contribute in building trust among co-workers and customers by securing and increasing quality of the range and the total quality perception of IKEA Food. You do this through your extensive knowledge and competence, strong leadership, a firm belief in the IKEA values and with passion for both food and people! Assignment You have the overall responsibility for securing and developing the quality work in IKEA Food globally - from raw material, processing and distribution to the stores. You will develop methods to measure and improve product- and customer perceived quality. You will be developing food quality and safety standards throughout the value chain, as well as managing and preventing risks. The assignment also includes responsibility for emergency response procedures and deviation management. We also want you to be the lead in establishing a truly inspiring, strong quality culture among all IKEA Food co-workers and coach, develop and challenge your team and colleagues. You will report to the IKEA Food Sustainability, Health & Quality Manager. Is this the right challenge for you? We are looking for you who have strong leadership capabilities and high competence within the food quality area. You have a genuine belief in the IKEA values and are driven by a desire to develop business and people together. You understand how quality matters influences the brand. You thrive in a complex and constantly changing international environment and have an evident problem solving approach together with being accurate, structured and well organised. You have a strong drive, excellent communication skills and a high level of energy. You have several years of experience as Quality Manager within the food industry or business and a university degree in food science or equivalent.
