Regulatory Expert/Manager in food and bio-technology

We seek a regulatory expert in food science with project leadership experience who is able to match Novozymes’ business ambitions applying global understanding of regulatory and bio-technology issues.

Qualifications

You have a MSc or equivalent in a science subject, preferably bio-technology. You have several years of experience from industry or authority.
You have significant knowledge of documenting bio-technology work necessary to meeting the registration requirements globally. You are familiar with the global regulatory landscape and in particular FIAP.
You have strong communication skills and documented experience with Project Management and have worked with multiple stakeholders in joined projects.
You are a self-motivated team-player with dedication to quality and willingness to learn. You appreciate an informal atmosphere working in a cross cultural organization.

Challenges

Novozymes has a diverse enzyme product portfolio within the food sector sold worldwide and it is regulated by many different legislations across a number of regulatory territories.

Your work will be as regulatory expert to interact with stakeholders in bio-technology, as well as other parts of R&D, and sales and marketing.

You will be working with regulatory compliance from early consultation and strategies to registration of new and existing food enzymes and strains. You will do that as part of a global team.

You need to stay updated with new developments, requirements and legislation in the field of regulatory affairs relevant for food applications and integrate new learning as appropriate.

The position is placed in the department of Regulatory Affairs, supporting food and technical applications, which at present has 14 employees with a wide range of professional backgrounds. We are situated in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.

We are a part of the Toxicology and Regulatory Affairs organization, which is a global organization. We have close collaboration with colleagues across the entire Novozymes organization as well as with customers, authorities, and trade organizations.
