Are you looking for a new challenge in an international company? Fantastic, we are looking for a new SHE Manager to our fully automated coffee factory in Helsingborg.

Main purpose of the job

As a SHE Manager, you will be responsible for Safety, Health and Environment at Zoégas Factory and our Swedish head office, both located in Helsingborg. ​You Inspire and empower excellence in safety and health across both sites with a heavier focus in the factory. You develop the sites S&H master plan and drive its implementation through application of the Nestlé Management Systems. You provide leadership across all parts of the site to enable staff to realize their S&H goals and create pride in their achievements. You understand the needs of the factory by working closely with all functions in order to provide a customized support. On top of the S&H responsibilities – you will work to reduce the environmental impact our operation has aligned with Nestlé net zero roadmap.

You will be a part of the factory leadership team as well as the Nordic SHE-team and you have dedicated colleagues across the globe! You report to Factory Manager - Zoégas.

Your responsibilities

  • Inspire Change by creating a compelling understanding of the Nestlé S&H values and promote a behavioral approach to S&H, based on our leadership values.
  • Create Strategy by identify S&H priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change. Develop a holistic strategy and implementation plan, aligned with Market priorities & objectives, and with the overall master plan. Guide implementation and communication of the strategy.
  • Manage standards by guiding implementation of new standards for SHE. Develop and continuously improve site S&H programs to deliver compliance and performance improvement.
  • Develop Capability of Managers by ensuring training and coaching is provided to managers and team leaders to help them take ownership, and lead & manage S&H within their area of responsibility. Provide personal coaching and support to Management Team.
  • Develop S&H Networks: by developing & coordinating S&H networks of professionals, champions, and SMEs for the site. Develop their functional and leadership competencies and ensure robust succession plans for key S&H positions.
  • Provide Guidance and support by ensuring managers receive trusted guidance & support on relevant S&H matters. Identify expertise and good practices from inside and outside Nestlé and communicate them internally. Co-ordinate internal & external resources to ensure delivery of high quality and efficient S&H support, eg exposure monitoring, health promotion, health surveillance, training. Leverage SHE network and other tools to monitor & analyze performance and improve decision making.
  • Audit & Review by ensuring compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvement. Promote effective communication of successes and learnings, and recognition for strong performers and contributors.
  • Drive Engagement by engaging with external stakeholders (eg trades unions, local regulators, local communities, and local NGOs) on S&H topics to build long term, positive relationships. Participate in external forums to benchmark with other companies and share Nestlé practices.

What will make you successful

We believe that you have prior experience within a relevant field related to the SHE area with a good understanding of the Swedish regulations related to safety, health and environment. It is a great advantage if you have worked in a similar role towards both a factory and an office. Additionally, we expect you to have:

  • A positive energy and willingness to adapt to ever changing environments
  • Good communication skills
  • Structure and ability to deliver quality work within short and at times demanding deadlines
  • Strong Swedish and English communication skills, verbal as well as written.
