AAK is looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to the Nordic & Eastern Europe business unit.

About the position

As Sales Manager you will be a part of a winning team, result oriented and with a clear customer focus. We build our values on teamwork, keeping our promises, drive initiative, improvement and innovation.  

You will be responsible for our sales in selected markets/accounts, primarily within the Nordic region. You will be responsible for driving commercial initiatives and to manage interactions with customers, with the key focus on:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the go to market team
  • Effectively utilize consultative selling processes to increase share of wallet and generate mutual growth with new and existing products.
  • Engage with the customers at the executive level and throughout the organization to understand the customer’s strategy and objectives; uncover pains and needs and influence prioritization of these
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands AAK’s customer base and ensures a strong market presence
  • Drive customer co-development projects in co-operation with the customer innovation team

The position requires the ability to travel appr. 60 days per year. The position is preferably based at our office in Karlshamn, Sweden. The Sales Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Leader. 

Who are you?

Experience

To be successful in this role you have experience from international B2B sales, preferably within the food industry. If you have a university degree in food chemistry or similar it is a clear advantage. You are a skilled communicator and you must be fluent in Swedish and English.

Personal qualities

You have a deep and profound interest and passion to work in teams and directly with customers, discussing and interacting with them and developing solutions for their needs. You are comfortable to work in an international business environment, including frequent travel and we believe that you have a high commercial drive and strong business acumen. You are a proactive flexible team player, strong in project management and enjoy navigating and working close with the internal support functions.
