The AAK Graduate Trainee Program is an advanced accelerated on-boarding program designed to give you the best possible start to your career. Over the 12 months’ duration of the program you will experience a mix of on-the-job learning, individual development activities and formal training.
During your traineeship you will have two short term rotations to other functions within AAK; one to a commercial function and one to a function in production/operations. The aim of these rotations is to provide you with in-depth knowledge of the value chain.
To ensure that your career is accelerated you will undergo training in e.g. time management and personal efficiency and effectiveness, just as there will be specific ‘Key Learning Points’ defined for each position and each rotation.

Sales Trainee, Food Industry, Nordic & Baltics
With reference to the Regional Sales Director, you will be the driving force in developing, managing and servicing regional accounts against an agreed sales strategy primarily within the Food Industry segment. Your key focus is to develop customers business and find new customers.
By analyzing the customer’s needs, you will drive the sale within your accounts and create solutions to meet the customer’s wishes. You will be involved in a wide variety of projects in a challenging environment and it will be within your responsibility to handle the complexity of the market conditions and to adhere AAK’s strategy. A common understanding of AAK’s products and services among customers, sales representatives and colleagues is essential and you will play an important role in terms of coordination and active knowledge sharing with relevant parties in AAK.

You are motivated by building strong relationships to our customers and you are comfortable working closely with our customers on their home field – including visiting the customers, performing seminars and other related activities.
To be successful in this role you must have a university degree in Food Science, chemistry, chemical engineering or similar. Fluency in Swedish and English is a prerequisite. You like to be a part of a team but you are also able to take the lead. Additionally it is essential that you have a commercial interest combined with a pro-active mindset and a high level of motivation. You have a structured way of working and interacting with your customers as well as your colleagues.
