Senior Marketing Manager (Head of Marketing) – Northern Europe

Barilla is now looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for Northern Europe to be based at the office in Stockholm. This role is expected to contribute to major long-term decision making process and will have a key role in shaping the future of Barilla in the region.
The position is a key position in the Northern European organisation and will be a part of two different dynamic management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/motivate the team and overall staff to promote personal & professional growth
- Define long term business objectives/strategies by geography/categories, including P&L
- Define local product portfolio by country (sizing and assortment) according to local needs
- Adapt global materials to local requirements of Brand Strategy Equity and communication
- Define and propose the annual budget for media, promotional and brand activation activities and monitor it
- Ensure development and proposal of marketing plans for each brand, category and country in terms of both qualitative and quantitative objectives
- Participate with Media Management to develop annual Barilla Communication Plan
- Ensure the development of BTL brand activation activities
- Give the input in terms of brand activation for external- and public relations
- Ensure effective launch of new products unit
- Participate in the definition of price lists for each country/product
- Supply input for Market and Consumer insights, contribute to development of global and local consumer insight, competitive intelligence, brand equity and product quality
- *Note that this role will require some travelling within the Nordics as well as internationally.
We are looking for an energetic and passionate leader who enjoys working with a broad perspective of the business.
We see that you have the following background:
- Marketing skills with key focus on BTL/Consumer Marketing
- Management experience from a similar type of environment with a strong passion for leadership and developing people/organizations
- Experience within FMCG, preferably within food & drinks categories
- Category management / Trade Marketing/ Shopper Insight experience
- Experience working on a Nordic level and thrives on working in a dynamic and international work environment
- Fluent in Swedish & English (further Nordic languages beneficial)
- Academic background
