Senior Production Manager - Jönköpings Dairy

At Jönköpings Dairy, Sweden, Arla produce 200 Mkg of milk, cream, fresh lactose free and sour milk annually. Arla products are characterised by high quality and freshness. Jönköping dairy is a modern and technologically advanced world class site with 500 employees. Due to changing customer requirements, the dairy is facing rapid development and exciting challenges. Raise the bar for production performance Reporting directly to the Site Director, you will be responsible for the daily production. Providing professional leadership and coaching to your employees, you ensure that the dairy meet stretched targets and live up to their customers’ expectations. As Senior Production Manager you ensure agreed deliverables by means of an optimal organisation and production process. You will challenge status quo in order to optimise the overall performance via continuous improvement in the production while raising the bar for safety, high quality, performance and production capacity. To achieve this you continuously launch initiatives to create a healthy learning environment, where the employees are free to develop and obtain new competences. Lean will be a natural part of your everyday work. As part of the local management team you will also play a key role in developing possibilities for new business offer as well as other strategic projects and development activities. Moreover, you will establish a wide network within Arla Foods to realise the continuous development and progress of the dairy. Inspiring and experienced manager  You hold a degree as Master of Dairy Science and Technology, Dairy Technician/Process Technologist or similar and have experience from a similar position, where you have run a large production and had management responsibilities. It is essential that you are familiar with Lean. You have established yourself as a strong leader with professional pride. You approach situations with an open mind-set as well as determination and clear priorities. You have good communication skills and excel at creating long-term relationships both internally and externally. Your employees respect you for your insight and your dedication, and you are a true ambassador for Arla products. Clearly, you must have the will, urge and drive to create change and set direction for your departments.
