The Green dairy are Swedish pioneers in plant-based B2B food production and was founded in 2006. We are dedicated to developing high quality plant-based food dairy products based on oat and fava from sourcing to table. The company is privately owned, and the plant-based production is based in Karlshamn, Sweden. Together with our customers we develop delicious, sustainable high quality food products to satisfy consumer cravings. In 2022, The Green Dairy Innovation AB was formed as a daughter company to The Green Dairy. With this move we want to emphasize the importance of innovation and secure our ambitions to be in the forefront of product development and strategic innovation to support existing and new customers.

The scope
In this role, you will lead entire engineering- and product development projects and project teams end-to-end for plant-based dairy products. You will be accountable for project delivery, which includes comprehensive project planning and establishing and following timetables and key deliverables.
Your work will span from practical hands-on activities at laboratory, pilot-plant and factory levels to maintaining control of project budgets. You will be responsible for all project documentation, including developing project plans, regular reporting, creating business cases and other essential documentation as needed.
Effective project communication will be a key part of your role, along with networking internally and externally with key stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment across all levels of the organization.
Who you are
You are probably a team player with an easy-going personality and an “everything is possible” mind-set.
We are looking for someone who fits with our culture with senior experience in engineering and product development projects, preferably with experience from the plant-based dairy, dairy or at least the food industry. You need to have strong knowledge in food engineering and chemistry, particularly in liquid formulations, emulsions or similar areas. Practical understanding and experience from food processing is also essential.
You are used to working both hands-on in projects as well as on a theoretical level. As a person, you are interested in plant-based food, health and sustainability, and have a strong desire to learn new insights in food processing technology and food chemistry.
We see that you are used to working independently and have good business understanding. You are skilled at networking and have good communication skills. As a project manager, you are structured and good at setting up and keeping time-plans.
Finally, we are looking for someone who is used to working with innovation in a constantly changing environment and who thrives on the challenge this brings.

Location: Karlshamn, Sweden, 3-5 days per week. 2 days/week flexible job location. We also have an office space in Malmö.
Language: Written and spoken English and Swedish is a must.
