Your main priority will be to lead and participate in supplier audit activities and to develop the related tools, processes and capabilities on the group level. The Sourcing Development Manager will bring added value by establishing a new way of working in the area of supplier audits and supplier base development. The main aim of this new role is to strengthen our capabilities in sustainability and supplier audit processes. It is part of our development on the management of social, environmental and quality issues in supply chains.

Our company has subsidiaries in 15 countries, with production in six countries. As the lead auditor, your role will be to identify all supplier audit needs and develop an annual auditing plan for them. This includes audit preparation, implementation and follow-up, partly through our resources. You will also manage selected audits.

Close cooperation on the group level within projects and teams regarding Responsible Sourcing, Environment, Quality and Corporate Responsibility will be natural for you. You will thus be able to identify and utilize synergies, also developing our internal competencies. Identifying new requirements based on change in legislation, regulations or customer needs is also part of the job.

To succeed in this position, we expect you to have Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of five years’ experience of a role within sustainability (responsible sourcing and environment) and sourcing. You have a solid background in international supplier audits as a lead auditor as well as leading virtual teams within projects. Understanding of food safety regulations and certificates is an asset.

You have the ability to lead, and participate in, several projects simultaneously. Working in a matrix organization on all levels is already natural for you, and we appreciate your excellent networking and communication skills. Your way of working is proactive and analytical. A person with good influencing and problem solving skills, you are known as a colleague with service minded attitude and willingness to support others.

You will work effortlessly with your colleagues from different cultures. Your English skills are excellent, and Finnish or Swedish skills are an asset. This role will take you traveling more than 50 days per year. You will report to Group Sourcing Director, and the job location can be either Helsinki or Mölndal, Göteborg.
