Trade Marketer (Away from Home Division)

Lavazza Nordic is the largest espresso brand and for many consumers synonymous with Italian coffee culture. The Lavazza Away From Home (AFH) Division is experiencing strong growth across the core Roasted Coffee Business and the addition of a successful Trade Marketer to the team is required to support this.
Job specification:
Lavazza Nordic are looking to recruit a bright, energetic, creative and strategic marketer to provide comprehensive support to the AFH Division and its customers with the vision to further develop our brands through the effective delivery of promotional strategy. This position requires a focused and commercial individual with an eye for detail.
Responsibilities for the role are:
• Develop and Implement the marketing strategy to maximise cost effective AFH sales.
• Implement and deliver marketing plans and initiatives to position the company as an industry leader in the Coffee Category.
• Work in conjunction with Key Account Managers and other team members to ensure the efficiency of marketing campaigns through the major channels .
• Manage and maintain key market data and insights that drive the Nordic strategy and maintain the brands market leadership in the Nordic Coffee market .
• Manage and leverage key company partnerships.
• Optimisation of new product initiatives.
• Ensure that marketing programmes and activities are executed following corporate guidelines.
• Ability to work closely with external agencies
Experience/Competencies:
Personal
• Have excellent written and verbal communication as well as confident presentation skills, with the ability to build influential relationships at all levels.
• Strong commercial acumen with the intellect to think strategically but will be equally comfortable handling operational issues effectively and delivering return on investment.
• Be a forward thinker with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude, driven by continuous improvement and a desire to generate creative ideas and follow them through.
• High degree of flexibility and efficiency.
• Good planning & organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and be flexible in changing environment develop new business.
• Results driven, pro-active team player as well as able to work independently and always willing to go that extra mile.
• Proficient IT skills in main Microsoft applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Word.
Marketing
• Marketing or Business related degree.
• Minimum of 2 years Sales/Marketing experience within Food Service or the FMCG sector.
• Project management skills are important and the ability to closely manage agencies.
