Carlsberg Sweden AB is now looking for a new Transport Manager. You will act as Costumer Supply Chain business partner towards local and central procurement on all Costumer Supply Chain related business. One for the central tasks is to work with development of a strong transportation and beer drive team, as well as handling the sales of Distribution Business and the agreements, ensuring company and site values are promoted and maintained at all times. Preferably this person will be placed in Falkenberg, optional placement in Stockholm would involve frequent travels.   Job Description In the role as Transport Manager you will have budget responsibility for approx. 170Mio SEK and manage an organisation with 30 people, including one direct report. You will have a director report to the local Customer Supply Chain Director, and indirect to Group Transport Director. Your main responsibilities are:
  • To develop strategies, business models, risk management and tactics together with Central Logistics transportation team, and aligning with local stakeholders, to fulfil the profit and operative expenses (OPEX) goals
  • To fulfil profit and OPEX goals for local customer supply chain organization within agreed targets
  • To implement the strategies, business models, tactics and risk management through leading the transportation in the local organization
  • To manage service and costs of all contractors and service providers to comply with customer, company and legislative requirements
  • To create budget, financial execution control, and budget review to ensure fulfilment of profit and OPEX goals of the local organization. Using of management information to continuously review performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • To perform tendering, auctioning and negotiations to choose 3rd party transport provider to deliver most optimal cost to service
  • Regular performance of supplier evaluation and reviews, supplier development, supplier audit and KPI sharing within agreed transportation strategy
  • Recruitment, training, development, optimization and personal performance reviews with the direct employees
  • To provide transport industry research and driving logistics/transport innovation, supporting input to central group
  • To implement decided IT tools at local level, providing master data of resources and information, proactively identifying improvements of tools and further development needs
  • To ensure that local organization is following Carlsberg Health&Safety and CSR policy and guidelines. Identifying development areas and initiating required actions
  Your Experience
  • University degree or necessary experience from relative position in Supply Chain
  • 5 years’ experience within a logistics environment with 3 years at management level. Proven experience in managing change/budget
  • Experience in a results driven FMCG environment
